Still worth waiting xD

It's still worth waiting for the treat. Haha! Met Rachel at Bugis with my girls, we din really shop ytd though, we had fun taking photos at the staircase near the MRT waiting for ROCHE KWAN! After much discussion and lots of impromtu decisions, we finally settled at Mannhatten Fish Market for dinner at Central. Roche, Rachel and I shared the Large Lobster Platter. I got a big portion of lobster, yummy! :D Oh god, I really miss my BM0706 class so much! Why good things always come to an end so quickly? We must meet up again!



Dear came to fetch me home from Woodlands MRT, he came over to my house to print his badminton lesson plan for Today's coaching practical test. Hope everything goes well and get his Coach cert! He has been so stressed up because of this cert. Good luck, my Dear! (:

Finally, my Agnes B wallet and camera case arrived ytd night! I've long wanted the Agnes B wallet because my current wallet is tearing off. Yeah! New wallet. Btw, it's not a real Agnes B. I'm not a rich kid.



Bored bored bored. I needa complete my ICAs! Damn ICAs. I'm getting stressed up by the amount of work to be done during these few weeks. 2 tests and 4 projects to be handed up within 2 weeks time! How the hell is that possible?!

And, not forgetting it's Dear's Dad's Birthday! Though I know he'll not read this, still

NAPFA!



Luckily, my whole body did not ache as badly after the NAPFA ytd. My thigh and stomach aches but not the worst. I forgot when's the worst but it sure feels good to exercise. Though I failed badly, I think it gets me motivated to run and jog more. Saying abt 2.4km, I ran 7 rounds because the person, who is recording how many rounds I ran, counted wrongly. I was like "Alright, forget it. Since I couldn't meet the passing time." Thus, I walked the last round with Zoe. Haha. Practically, I jogged 5 rounds and walked 2 rounds. Yet, still panting and feeling dizzy after that. The 5 stations suck big time, joined another class to finish the 5 stations as my name was not registered in the system. -.- Well, it's over!

Next up will be lots and lots of ICAs and Projects piling up and I guess I wouldn't have time to catch my breath after this long weekend. Today is a self-declar holiday, all the way till Tuesday as Monday NYP will be holding Graduation Day. :D Time to start doing the rest of my projects.

These few days has been going to KBox. Haha, Kor was like asking when am I free to go with him and his friends. I din give him an answer and I'm always telling him I went to KBox with friends. He was so pissed, in a funny way. LOL. Ytd, during the 5 hours break, Zoe, Jovena, Sylvia and I went for KLunch! Glad that I got back my voice! xD Need to update some new songs into my song list. But, as usual the kuku Sylvia still insist not singing. Humph! If not, everyone will die. HAHA!

Shit! I just received an email from Ms Michelle Lee regarding the OSEP Presentation to the Director. Damn, another project to add on. =X

On a lighter note, I'm going to Bugis with my girlfriends ltr! :D

Weekly Episodes.

Last Sunday was Mother's Day. Brother planned to go cycling together in the morning along the Park Connectors from Woodlands to Sembawang. We cycled to 888 Plaza for Dim Sum breakfast since it was raining heavily then. Luckily, the rain stopped after awhile. I borrowed Dear's bike and Kor rode that bike with mum behind while I cycled his. Then, we cycled back to RP. We saw 1 couple taking Wedding Photos and we assumed it should be RP students. As Dear was coaching at RP Sports Hall, we decided to go up and see. Dear was coaching a group of kids, they were soooooo cute! I borrowed rackets from Dear and his friend to play badminton with my family. At the same time, Dear continued coaching another batch of students. I was so proud of him. I can see he was well-liked and respected by his students. Keep up the good work, Dear! :D


At night, we had dinner at Sembawang Chye Lai Restaurant. Though we reserved seats, there was still a lot of people. It was all full when we reached. Still, we had to wait for another 10-15 mins. We ordered the food before we settled down and it came 1 hour later, imagine how many people were there. But, I would not go there again because I think their food was not really delicious to the extend that I will want to wait for so long. Then, we went over to Sembawang Shopping Centre. It was more or less the same even though they tore down the whole building and rebuild it. I wanna go back to Daiso again! I need to get all those cute little things for my room! I think I can spend like at least an hour there to screen through everything.


Finally, I get to catch up with Sakinah and Ai Fang on Wednesday. We caught a flick that I wanted to watch The Ramen Girl at Cineleisure. I love their comfy seats. Besides that, the movie has quite a good story plot with a good sense of humor. Abby, the American girl inside the show, acts and sounds like my English friend, Lauren. I miss her like suddenly. I wonder if she'll really come to Singapore. Well, whatever it is, I guess it just all memories. Take care, girl. She's really a cute English girl that I've met.


Thursday was boring because Sylvia was sick and Zoe din come for the first lesson because Bedok area was raining heavily there. BUT! Zoe, Jovena and I made an impromptu decision to sing K at AMK! We sang from 3pm to 9pm! 6 hours of singing and my voice can hardly sing any Female Singers' songs. Jovena too, had a sexy voice like me. Haha! Only Zoe, still as good. We sang, laughed, jumped, shouted and did splits in the small little room. Zoe really got hidden talent! She is really flexible! Zoe, you should do more splits at home!


Ytd was a simple, yet to me, a perfect day. Dear and I went down to Holland V! I found a restaurant online and was highly-rated so I suggested that to Dear. Additionally, I rented Fujifilm Instax Mini from my friend whom owns a blogshop. The thought of renting the Polaroid Camera only came to me on Thursday morning. Luckily, her friend returned her on Thursday and she had it with her. I bought the films outside though. 10 films for $12.90. Quite an expensive investment. However, once in a while, I think it's worthwhile taking photos with my love one. (:



Mykii, the fusion restaurant wasn't difficult to find and I love their decor. It is so pure and simple. I especially love their songs and the ambience. It is perfect for Couples dating. The whole time there, I felt I was celebrating some occassions with Dear. Indeed it is, celebrating Dear's Belated Birthday. The food is delicious and unique. Appetizer - Pumpkin Soup, Main Course - Grilled Dory Fillet Steak with Pumpkin and little veggies, Dessert - Mango Mousse and Beverage - Iced Lemon Tea. I rate this restaurant 4.5/5. I would help them do free advertisement because I think it was really worth the money. Weekdays they have special lunch promotion at only 13.80++. Just the perfect place for us, right Dearie? Though it was just a lunch at Holland V, I just enjoyed the quality time spent together.

This evening, I returned the Instax Mini Camera back to my friend at Dhoby Ghaut and used this chance to go out with my family for a good dinner. We had dinner at Crystal Jade. The food was GREAT! Peking Duck, Congee, Fried Garlic Prawns, Coffee Chicken and Duck Soup. Everything was so delicious! Yum Yum! It's a pity, Dear had coaching, if not he can join us for a good meal!

ICAs is really gonna pile up. Once it starts, it'll not stop until the week before the Exams start. I should stop going out on Wednesdays to Sundays and really work on my projects. Half of my modules that I'm taking are all project-based. Dead meat. Entrepreneur alone is killing me. Just let me settle down.

I need a haircut and colouring badly! Which Salon should I go to? Some recommendations pls~ I need to make an appointment for my facial too.

Psychology.

Monday and Tuesday is still as mundane as ever. Two long days in sch. Now that the Swine Flu is all over the news, no doubt Polytechnics has been doing their part in temperature taking. So far, from what I've heard, NYP and RP has the latest technology in investing in Thermal Screening instead of using Thermometers. That's what I'm finally proud of NYP. Hah. It definitely made our lives easier. ;) Saying of that, it's a relief that the Orange Alert has turned Yellow, no more sticky temperature-screening-stickers on our hands, shirts and bags. And, lucky that I came back to Singapore earlier and affected by the Swine Flu.

Another recent news that left smiles on most Singaporeans: MAS SELAMAT was captured! Surprisingly, he was caught in Msia, near JB and that I started doubting some issues and have questions which I think wasn't appropriate to share it here on blog. Well, at least he's being caught. I bet he din have a good life, he looks slimmer when being captured.

Initially, I had some plans this week to meet some of my friends which ended up postponing to next week. Thus, I had impromtu dates instead.
Wednesday, I met up with Dear at AMK Hub again but this time, we caught a flick "Taken" which left a tremendeous impact on me.



It was a story about 2 teenagers, aged 17 and 19, both females, flying from Califonia to Paris and got kidnapped by Albanian to make money. They were injected with drugs and forced into prostitution. It was frightening as I related all these to where I went in Europe. I've quarrelled and argued with Dear when I was there in Germany because I wanted to travel. Though I didn't regret, but it makes me realise how the other side of the world can be like. I don't deny I was ignorant to these facts. Yet, I still believe these were just the worst side of it. I do enjoyed the traveling experience while overseas, but to me, once was enough for me. I've lost the courage to experience the second time. Now, I have little or near to zero interest to go back to Europe for traveling. Maybe I have travelled enough. It's time to explore countries that are closer to home. Mum maybe planning a trip to Perth during the two weeks break but it's still pending for the moment. I want to plan a trip with Dear too before his army in Oct. Another maybe after graduation with friends. We'll see again.

I have been quite broke actually, still feeling a tinge of guilt that I've spent 10k for the last 4 months. Nevertheless, I still bought sth when I went Orchard shopping with Zoe, Jovena and Sylvia last Thursday. That's why friends call me Shopping Queen. Lol. Shopping's nv enough for me.

This sem, some modules have been quite extreme from the others. HBO (Human Behaviour in Organisation) in particular, is more of psychology. It's interesting how human minds think and work. Who am I today connects to how I'm being brought up and of course my parents' genes. Not forgetting the external influence by friends and media. If only, HBO is just a workshop and not a module. Sighs.

I find a sentence that Wilson Chay said in tutorial was quite meaningful. He says "You will desire what you lack of during your childhood time." Somehow it's true that you will be attracted to someone who has some things you're lack of. Therefore, it makes a whole, just like a jigsaw puzzle.

Oh darn. NAPFA test is coming. I wonder how much will my scores differs after having 3 years of exercise break. Lol! Standing Broad Jump & Inclined Pull-up will forever be my obstacles. I just don't want to run the last for 2.4km.

Mother's Day tmr! Will be cycling in the morning and dinner at Sembawang. :D Great~ Gotta get ready with my cameras. Photo taking time!

I have been collating my photos taken from my phone. They are mostly the food I've cooked in Germany. I shall collage them and post it. You'll see how I've tried surviving through with my cooking skills. Hah.

Settling.

School has started for a week. As usual, ICAs, ICAs and ICAS! This year, director has a new suggestion to instruct all tutors to ask the same question. Last year was that, group should not be chosen by students and everyone should be picked randomly. -.- Though thi year, the same rule apply, every first lessons, we had to say 3 things about ourselves. What a question!

School's bored, Singapore's bored. What else can I do? I can't do shopping already because I've spent too much for OSEP. I feel guilty to continue spending my mum's money. I wanna work yet projects piling up. Dear is going for NS during October, I guess I should spend my free time with him before he goes in and could only see him during weekends. Boo :(

I don't know why I feel different here in Singapore. Perhaps, my mind isn't that packed now? Because when I was in Germany, everyday my mind will be thinking what should I do next weekend or this weekend, I can't be possibily wasting my time there doing nothing. Booking air tickets, hostels and checking out the destinations. Thinking if laundry is done or food has expired. These little things seem unimportant but my mind has concurrently been thinking. Back in Singapore, with mum around, I don't have to think so much. Just settle my studies, that's all! Though mind is at ease, yet I feel something missing because I'm not as busy anymore.

Well well. Last week, I spent some time with Dear and friends. Tuesday, Dear came down to AMK to have dinner with me and we went prawning at night with Zhihong and Eileen. It was couples date. Though we prawned no prawns, I enjoyed the night with Dear just by waiting for prawns to be hooked. (: Btw, Zhihong & Eileen prawned 3 of them and they cooked them in the oven, the prawns are like struggling. Poor prawns. Aww. They had their prawns and we headed to Jalan Kayu to eat supper.



Thursday, the four of us went to Bugis for shopping! Initially, I don't intend to buy anything. End up, Zoe and I, both bought a Agnes B bag! It is really nice and cheap. Hehe. :P We also went over to the new Bugis shopping mall, but there was nothing much, only that long escalator from 1st floor to the 4th floor.

Friday, Dear and I went to Jurong Point. I did not buy anything, but surprisingly Dear did. Haha! I bought him G700 Business Edition that I promised him during his 20th Birthday. :D He just love that stylus. I bet he'll loathe it after a few months! Haha. Lala~

Ytd, gathering with my girls, Roche, Gab and Sheldon. We played board games in Minds Cafe at Boat Quay before heading to Lau Pat Sat to have dinner. After which, left Sheldon, Zoe and I, we ate Ice cream at Marina Square before Zoe and I went back by train. Cool! More gatherings! I miss my old classmates. Sigh. I feel foreign in my current class now. =/
